Formerly known as Services for the Elderly of Farmington, Inc.
You may have heard we recently announced that Services for the Elderly of Farmington is undergoing a name change. This decision was driven by several factors. First, to pay tribute to our founder, Hope Emery, second to differentiate ourselves from the Town of Farmington, and third to align our name with our mission of community service and support for the homebound.
The renaming process was meticulous. We involved focus groups, extensive brainstorming, and collaboration with experts. We partnered with The Walker Group to develop a meaningful name and logo, as well as a new website. We also worked closely with Kate Emery, Hope's daughter, and sought input from our long-time previous Executive Director Nancy Walker as well as previous board members.
We officially announced our new name on September 26, 2024 at a dinner attended by 100 people, including all of Hope Emery's children.
Our new name is H.O.P.E. Partners of Farmington, and the acronym H.O.P.E. stands for Helping Others Prosper Everyday.
